Daughters of Zion

DOZ---Daughter of Zion women fellowship, is created to discover, train and empower women to seek and fulfill their destiny. It is a fellowship where women are trained and taught to know God more intimately and be strong in the Lord using all their God-given abilities to serve the Lord.

The Daughters of Zion women ministry is an umbrella of all women group from all walks of life under the gospel of fire ministries in Toronto Canada. This women group is being led by the anointed minister of God in the person of Rev. prophetess Funmi Lucas. The members fellowship together and engage in powerful intercessory prayer and study the word of the living God in harmony.

They engaged in the community-based program and are wholly dedicated to spreading the word of God and populating the kingdom of God by loving and caring for one another.

Proverbs 31: 10 -12 ‘An excellent wife who can find?   She is far more precious than jewels. 11 The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. 12 She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life.’

The daughters of Zion women ministry as a Christian group is committed to living and abiding in Godly principles demonstrated in the word of God to obtain favour and grace and to exhibit the Glory of God on earth and impacting their immediate community. Their goal is to empower, promote, encourage, support, love and respect women of all backgrounds and culture.  They embark on this assignment by admonishing one another to recognize who they are in Christ and to become renewed in mind, spirit, and soul.  They draw support and inspiration from Paul’s letter to Colossians:

“You are God’s chosen race, His saints. He loves you, and you should be clothed in sincere compassion, kindness and humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with one another; forgive each other as soon as a quarrel begins. The Lord has forgiven you; now you must do the same. Over all these clothes, to keep them together and complete them, put on love. And may the peace of Christ reign in your hearts; because it is for this that you were called together as parts of one body. Always be thankful. Let the message of Christ in all its richness find a home in you. Teach each other in all wisdom with gratitude in your hearts, sing psalms and hymns and inspired songs to God. And never say or do anything except in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:12-17

Royal Men's Fellowship

The Royal Men's Fellowship is formed and organized to teach, train, equip and encourage men to discover the purpose of their existence and inspire to carry out their responsibilities to God, family and the church. They are to promote and see to the welfare of all men in the church and care for them.

The Royal men (GOFM Men's Ministry) is actively involved in spreading the gospel, providing opportunities for the men of the Church to worship God and to praise Him.

We participate in different activities including prayer meetings, Bible study and Sunday schools and other special functions. These provide the opportunity to fellowship, to learn, to be a blessing to someone and to be blessed.

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord and in His law, he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. Psalm 1:1-3

We look up to Christ Jesus the head of the church and our spiritual Father – Bishop Lucas for guidance. A true man, like Jesus, is obedient to the Father’s will and is about His Father’s business (Hebrews 10:9). Like Christ, we strive to shun sin and follow after righteousness. In the power of the Spirit, we seek to keep God’s law and live in God’s will.

We are convinced and have a determination to accomplish God’s will, whatever the cost. We’ll endure opposition and never lose heart. We are men of the Word, using Scripture to overcome temptation. We are men of the prayer of love and sacrifice.

To know what a true man is, you need to look no further than the life of Jesus Christ. As the Son of Man, Jesus is the epitome of manhood, the perfect example of what true maturity looks like. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit and lived in complete dependence on and obedience to the will of God. Christ fully displayed the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).

All men of GOFM are invited to join in the Men's ministry and fellowship and the activities.

Children's Ministry

The children ministry is a unique ministry handle by dedicated Christian teachers who support these wonderful children of God. In Gospel of Fire Ministries, we greatly value children and provides opportunities for them to learn about God, training them to be God fearing and obedient leaders; and we also provide interesting activities for them.

The basis for Children learning is the Bible - Proverbs 22:6, "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."  We believe that children are part of the church today, the church of tomorrow and the Christian generational leaders.

Our goal is to make children become a well- rounded member of the body of Christ; and this can only be achieved through studying the Bible, interacting with each other, music, sermons and opportunities to contribute into the ministries.  GOFM main goal is to make sure every child can come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as their savior. 

Children department is grouped into three age groups: 1 – 4 years old, 5 – 9 years old and 10 - 14 years old. All these departments are manned by Christian teachers and leaders. The Bible says in Psalm 127: 3-5, “our children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth.”

The children programs are as follow:

•           Music,

•           Scripture memorization,

•           Watching Christian videos

•           Bible teaching. Provides Christian education, holiday activities, a structured environment, safe surroundings and special events for the children of members and visitors.

 
 

Youth's Ministry

This ministry is saddled with the responsibility of organizing and creating an enabling environment for the training of our future leader in the fear and the way of the Lord and leading them to Christ.
